I was in charge of an ice breaker type activity for a church dinner we were having. So I took my camera on a walk around the neighborhood and snapped about 40 pictures of random stuff. You know, the design in the bricks on someone's house, a birdhouse, a house's shutters, wind chimes, a wooden fence, porch gnomes, antlers hanging on someone's garage, etc. I only included things that could actually be seen from the sidewalk - though I got a little closer than that to take some of the photos.
It was a lot of fun seeing people try and pick out where in the ward/neighborhood they had seen those things. And most amazing was that there were some folks who couldn't identify stuff in photos from their own home!Comment
