Dr. wuapinmon, I come to you groveling and begging your forgiveness for the totally unforgivable errors on my part. You have my most abject and sincere apologies for the majuscule error with you name. The same goes for the orthographic error in spelling. I will really try and do better in the future.

As far a posting the picture, we didn't take any at the time, so it probably won't happen, just a random thought as it were. My 14 yr old said my thumb was cool gross not gross gross, whatever that means. The 18 yr old just said it was gross

I may be small, but I'm slow.

One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

      • I always like seeing the look of fear in freshmen eyes on the first day of class give way to one of relief when I tell them that it's okay to be nervous and to stick with it; it'll get better.

Maybe you come across differently in real life.

              Probably not.

I was just saying the first day is cake compared to late in the semester their third year, for example.

              • I hate flying coach, and the person behind me has a bladder problem that requires frequent trips to the crapper, and he grabs onto the top of my seat (which was in its full, upright position) to pull himself up. He is invariably a person of considerable mass, resulting in my seatback being pulled toward him so that I feel like Wile E. Coyote being drawn back in a huge ACME slingshot, and I'm cringing, waiting for the release that will propel me through the cockpit security door with my head eventually protruding out the windshield. Man I hate that.

                        • About twice a month I get a call on my cell phone from someone in a different part of the country. Based on the message, it doesn't appear they even realize they have called anyone as the message is always comprised of background noise and them talking to somebody else.

I've thought about cold calling them and asking them what in the hell is going on, but my morbid curiosity has me wanting to see how long this will go on.
