I actually am pretty sure they've got the chemistry wrong - it's short chain/single carbon alkanes, not hydrogen gas. But I know such contraptions are real in theory - my mom's uncle had one that he used on his farm to power a tractor during WWII.

"Gasification" sounds like a made up word.

The biggest thing wrong I see with it is the price. Seems way too much for a simple gasification vessel.
