Yes, for work back in 2005. It’s a city with a big landmark. Nothing else really. Oh, I think Budweiser has something there. You like beer so obviously that will interest you.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View PostAnyone been to St Louis. I've been there a couple times. We stayed overnight at the USO in the airport before going down to basic training.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View PostAnyone been to St Louis. There is a Pokemon Go event there and I'm thinking about taking the trip out
About 20 years later, I had business down at Fort Leonard Wood, and we drove up to St. Louis to watch a ball game. You could do better, you could do worse. Overall, meh.

Someone once said that there are only three American cities—New York, New Orleans, and San Francisco—and that everywhere else is Cleveland.
I’d make a few more additions for places like Chicago. But St. Louis is basically another Cleveland.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

They just rescheduled the 3 Safari zone events that were cancelled in 2020 for the Pandemic. They are having events in 3 places: Liverpool, St. Louis, and Philadelphia. Liverpool and Philadelphia don't work for various reasons. Also, just noticed that you can participate anywhere in the world during the events and only people that previously bought tickets can participate. No more tickets being sold. So, scratch that not going to St. Louis. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

St Louis is great. Since you are taking your kid take him to the https://www.citymuseum.org/Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View PostAnyone been to St Louis. There is a Pokemon Go event there and I'm thinking about taking the trip out
Then go get some bbq at Pappy's https://www.pappyssmokehouse.com/ (btw.. they have table for the STL U basketball team cause Majerus used to take his team there and the tradition stuck)
then go to Ted Drewes http://teddrewes.com/ (on route 66 not the other one) and have some custard. the planetarium and other museums are free great kid friendly city."Be a philosopher. I agree with Ted Drewes and definitely don't fall for "St Louis style pizza" -- waste of money. Go up in the Arch. You can also go over to Illinois to Woodhenge (strange Stonehenge-like thing built in the Americas centuries ago, but it was out of wood so it didn't last) and the world's largest ketchup bottle (it's just a water tank).
I have nothing else to say at this time.
