Or obsession.
Posting a rambling diatribe about why you are no longer going to interact with X poster is the same as saying, "I am obsessed with X poster but am also mad at X poster for not participating in my obsession in the manner I desire! And I want poster X and all of you to know about it so I can feed the only bigger obsession I have, which is the one with myself."
I have a few posters I refuse to interact with on various grounds, but I am (and I think most people in similar situations are) content to just remain silent.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

You'll have to do better than that, DDD. It's ironic that you attempt to defend yourself from inaccurate allegations by compling a list considerably more inaccurate. And once again you default to the premise of "if X is making light of DDD, X must be having a bad day / meltdown."
It's actually quite laughable that you again make the assumption that it was football rankings that was getting under ute4ever's skin. There's actually much more to life than football. The fact that you "have a propensity" to default to such superficial conclusions suggest that perhaps it's difficult for you to see past the trials of being served burnt churros, or Kobe the rapist no longer being the MVP. How about if you go cold turkey on your world of Entertainment Weekly, People, Cosmopolitan and Celebrity Skin for a while, research ways to control OCD, research the concept of quality over quantity, and greatly increase your ratio of posts that contain actual substance over those that merely make fun of celebrities, public figures, members of this site, and LDS church doctrine.

Fiyero, you should lead by example. Why don't you compile a list of links to your personal best posts that meet the criteria you suggest above. It would help immensely.Originally posted by Fiyero View PostYou'll have to do better than that, DDD. He is the best troll I have ever seen, exhibited by his ability to find out what bothers his adversaries the most and constantly hammer it until, in his mind, he wins.
In my case, he knows it bothers me when people seek out personal information about me or my family. As such, he has lately started making digs about the fact that my wife was selling some stuff from around the apartment during a time when we were not doing so well financially. He knows this annoys and angers me, and finds enjoyment in that fact.
It's somewhat disturbing behavior, to tell you the truth, but as he is loved on this board, I realize I will not find many who agree with me.
Anyway, the point here is that, much like I did with Max Power on CB, I am unofficially ignoring DDD. I'll still read his posts, but I will never again directly address him. I figure it's the best way to deal with his desperate pleas for attention.
Thank you all for your time. I figured making this public would help me in my quest.
And may I add that I find 9 out of 10 CUF posters to be great individuals, and I have no feelings of malice towards them. Even when I disagree with these people on political or religious issues, I can respect them.
Unfortunately, DDD has established a consistent pattern of being a "1 out of 10" person. I'm sure he will be flattered. I don't care.
Farewell, DDD. I will miss you, but I hear 'tis better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.I think I understand. It is a self pride thing. You can say someone gets bettered and no longer wants the confrontation. You can say someone tires of the confrontation.Originally posted by nikuman View Post*sigh*

Whatever reason one has had enough. However, one does not want to leave the fray without ones ego still in tact. Most of the time though, the good bye
is met by the "who gives a crap attitude" from your peers and the ego is damaged more.
That is why preferrable to the I am leaving or not talking to you anymore approach, is the tried and true, F-U approach.
Note: F stands for Frick.

Where did you get your degree in psychology? Oh Lord. Once again the Chihuahua comes to rescue the Labradoodle who wears a Rottweiler halloween costume. How about if you do your own research project? You of course don't have access to every forum, but do your best. And remember, doing so would be creepy.Originally posted by RobinFinderson View PostFiyero, you should lead by example. As for DDD the seeker of truth, who seems to have a memory that last fall ute4ever was upset that USC was ranked higher than Utah. These must be the threads he is referring to:
USC passed by Texas in the polls
USC passed by Florida in the polls
Strange though that the only references to Utah in those threads came from DDD himself. For someone who misremembers things to his advantage, he would be prime to make a run for the New York Senate.

3D, it's lucky you are indifferent about Utefans, because Fiyero can turn your reputation to tatters over ther. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
