I thought each letter could only be used once. I entered in some words I knew were wrong just to get the answer which

              Spoiler for Shocking revelation:
as it turned out, had a repeating letter.

Turns out the words are a lot easier to figure out when you have done them once before. Go figure.

3 tries today. My tester words knocked it out for me.

I switched up my first word strategy and it worked for me. 3 tries also.

I wasted a move because I misread the colors they gave me (I'm partially colorblind). I updated the colorvision setting, so hopefully I don't get bit by that again.

Sometimes it's a matter of guessing right. I had one where I had three letters in the correct spaces after the first guess. Still took 3 more tries because there were so many possible combinations with the remaining letters.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Spoiler for Tester words:
I adopted your TEARS as a first word, and followed it up with YOUNG. That get's you all the vowels and a good number of high value consonants.

I tried the 'OUIJA' strategy today and it worked for me.
I like following up 'TEARS' with 'YOUNG' idea. I'll try that. Remember, there aren't any plural words ending with 'S', so maybe 'STARE' is a better use of your letters.

I was going through some earlier puzzles and ran into the same thing. Perhaps spending a move to narrow those down is the right move. You couldn't really do that if you have the hard option selected though.

Yep. The one I didn't get on the previous puzzles was one that had too many possible combinations. I had the last 4 letters and too many choices for the first and I guessed wrong.
