        • I have a subscription to the NYT crossword app. Worth the money (although I hate the tendency towards "wokeness" in clues and answers). The app also includes a "Spelling bee" game that is pretty fun to play. I bet they package Wordle in as part of the app eventually. All you freeloaders will have to cough up the dough!

I play the mini crossword and spelling bee with the standard NYT subscription I have. I haven’t paid for the enhanced game subscription.

Yeah, been doing that for past five days or so. I feel like I'm getting lucky, because I'm not that smart tbh.

                      • I've been doing it on hard mode lately and got it in two tries for the first time ever.

If I was smarter, I might have as well. I really like the word og uses to start.

Case in point: Mrs. Diddley got it in two tries today using the same first word as I did.
