I read about it after I saw the post above. Apparently they stole an entire gate door at dachau (gate contained the infamous lettering). Previously at auchswitz, the lettering itself was stolen and quickly recovered. I don't think the dachau gate has been recovered yet. The dachau gate isn't the original gate, though.

That isn't the moon. It is actually a tennis ball that was illuminated. I was there during the French Open.

the hat is a dodger baseball cap. I didn't wear it the whole time.

It's actually quite a bit better than DDD's picture of his hand.

Some strong additions and clever improvisation.

A gentle reminder to gtfo with these alternate submissions, though. Unless you take a picture with the actual homepage it is not an official flat Stanley. As arbiter, I will allow the Amen Corner picture to qualify because it is a print of the actual homepage. The Great Wall sketch of the homepage does not qualify because the sketch is not to scale and the stadium attendance is sparse so it looks like Rice Eccles.

Awesome, creekster. I hope you're wearing Timberlands.

Are you ever going to explain yours from the penitentiary? Is it a reflection from your car window or something?

I always pictured Creekster as having older hands.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

And hairier. I like that the CS home page was in focus instead of the background.

It was actually a print-out of the CS home page, but with those inferior, knock-off Chinese printers, it came out with very poor quality. My apologies.
