I travel with my tablet and a pic of the CUF homepage. When I see a flat Stanley op, I open the pic on my tablet and take a pic with my phone.

And hairier. I like that the CS home page was in focus instead of the background.

I couldn't decide which one should be in focus. In the end cold logic ruled. On one hand a had a marvel and wonder of the world and on the other I just had the Taj Mahal. The choice was clear.

In any event, from my pov, the Taj Mahal (pronounced by our guide as " tawzmayal" all together without emphasis) is among those rare wonders of the world that meets and then manages to vastly exceed one's great expectations. It is spectacular and impressive. Truly different in person. And well worth the trip.

India is an odd place. The modern Indian world has all the charm of a soviet office building from 1955 juxtaposed over the sanitation habits of the London slums during the Middle Ages. With the aromas to match. But, as the government likes to remind its people through commonly posted signs, India's heritage is its glory. And what a glorious heritage it is.
