I ate lunch yesterday at Luce at the Intercontinental. That pic was taken at the Market and Powell end. I also walked down to Specialty Bakery and bought a yummy oatmeal raisin cookie.

I do still owe you a meal but I am slammed with meetings. Have you noticed all the geeky video game people walking around the Metreon and Moscone?

You should have told me, I could have added the tour eiffel and some toerhs last week. Next week I will be in Kansas. I will add some fallow wheat fields or somethign like that.

It's not terribly original. There is a dairy outside of Dayton that has been doing this for years. Customers take a picture wearing a Young's Dairy T-Shirt in famous locales and it gets pinned to a wall inside the store.

Specialty's Bakery overall isn't much, but damn their cookies are good. I go hard on the peanut butter chocolate chunk.

Im saving my appetite for a bread bowl of clam chowder at Boudins!

I thought Luce was good. had pork bellies and some interesting bacon truffle thing. Best of all I didnt pay for any of it, which was really delish.

I go to boudins (on market) for luinch once or twice a month. Its not bad, but the fact that they dont know how to pronounce their own name still rankles.

I think all my kids are past the flat Stanley days. Too bad. These days I would just scan the thing and put it in my dropbox. Problem solved.
