If your wife is happy with a can of cheese for X-mas, I say more power to you. I don't see a problem with it.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Why are you all being so cruel to Wuap? Weight jokes deserve every FU hurled at them.

Wuap -- answering so earnestly is only emboldening the bullies. But it shows you're a nice guy.

In the grand scheme of things, it's much better to have a cluttered carport and thoughtfully give your wife a treat for Christmas than it is to be an asshole.

Short is the time for mocking others in this life; too bad for those who mock that eternity is somewhat longer.

I don't claim to know Wuap extremely well, but as one who has sat down and broken bread with him, I'll say that both those that revile him and those that defend him often misread his posts.

And often, in the words of Brother Bronco "That is by by design".

I made the mistake in the first few years of our marriage of giving my wife fancy things for Christmas, only to find that she didn't use them or care for them. She is very easy to shop for. A box of Wheat Thins and a can of Easy Cheese in her stocking, and Mommawuap is very happy on Christmas morn. I do hope, however, that this will surprise her:

Well, I've done my fair share of mocking in this life, so I'll be one of those who just whistles and walks away in John 8.

I honestly have no idea what that is a picture of. It looks like a piece of asphalt wrapped with rubber super low girt sandpaper.

It's a graphite rod knife block.
