      woke up late, went to church, sang in perhaps the worst quartet ever (talk about a train wreck, our first run through was better than what we did today) came home, opened presents, and now we're about to eat lunch.

        Had a nice morning. We skipped Iglesia altogether and have enjoyed our time. Opened presents, played with toys, ate some food, went over to in laws and skyped with BIL in South Africa. I'm ready to go back home now. Toys to play with and relaxing to be done. Going to be getting some serious Lego on this afternoon.
        Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

          We also bought the legos that you posted, but we forgot to get them out. I guess we'll hang onto them for a birthday.

                We alway do our big dinner on Christmas Eve - Ham, Christmas Potatos (recipe in another thread) etc. After which we read a few stories, The Grinch, Littlest Angel are musts and a couple of other, and let the kids/grandkids open a couple of gifts and then off to bed.

                This morning nobody was up till 7:30 and chruch was at 9:00 - I liked it short and Christ centered. After church I made brunch with left overs from last night and now everybody but me is taking a nap

                I will be going out in a couple of hours and deliver our neighborhood gifts ( a plate of homemade carmels).

                    We still haven't opened presents. Baby Brother is content with the Knicks game as his only present and I wrapped my own (a benefit of being the only female in the original Viking clan).

                              So after rolling out of bed, we put on our Sunday clothes and went down to the rest home to attend church with my MIL. While there my son and I were asked to help with the sacrament (AP volunteers at home this week) and went we took it around to the rooms of the residents who were not able to make it down to the meeting and who weren't gone with family. We has some great chats with some very sweet old ladies. Best church experience I have had in a long time and a wonderful way to spend Christmas morning. Then we came home and opened presents*.

                              Now I am starting to prep dinner.



                              (*I got a new drill! How about that?).
