Best ward party we've had in a while. Few forced carols. Program was brief. About 40 extra people showed up, none of whom we have ever seen before. General panic ensued in the kitchen because it was feared that we would run out of food. Everyone was fed, though, a minor miracle due to the stationing of the stingiest sister at the turkey platter, serving teensy slices of turkey. After eating, half of the unknown party guests disappeared.

I'm good friends with the bishops wife and since she was preoccupied with 3 infants, I volunteered to make a plate for the Bish, since he was busy listening to complaints etc. As I came through the line, Sister Stingy says, "Gee Katy, this is your second time through." I smiled sweetly at her and asked for 2 slices of turkey.

Best of all, due to some strategic rotations, cleanup only took 15 mins at the end.

I would put together a bundle of Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Red Undead Redemption, and Dragon Age. That is a pretty good bundle for $30.

I went over to Fanzz at the Gateway to grab a gift for my Ute uncle. After a couple of trips to the Red Zone at 106, I gave up. They didnt have what I wanted. Apparently Fanzz just landed a bunch of new gear.

I felt awkward shopping in the Ute section. Has anyone else ever purchased gear of the rival team? It makes you feel slimy and gross. At checkout, I felt compelled to explain to the cashier that the fleece was in no way for me. I did take the high road and tell the cashier that I think that Ute basketball will eventually find its way back.

What is the best material for a robe? I may buy one for my wife. She loved the one they had in the room at the Grand America when we stayed there, and the website mentions "Kashwere" robes, but pictures of kashwere robes don't look like what they have at the hotel. Those robes were not quite so fluffy and they were lined.

Anyway, if you are a robe wearer, what do you recommend? I've never worn a robe.
