How much does a bag of pellets cost? I saw Traeger had a display at the Sandy Costco on Saturday, and they were selling pellet bags for $14.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostLots of places doing free shipping for Christmas. I went to this site:
http://www.dtydirect.com/
to order some rubs for my Traeger and noticed that everything was 10% off with free shipping for orders over $99. So I ordered four bags of pellets and a few sauces to put it over $99. Shipped the same day for free. The shipping notice said it was 92 lbs!!!
No way they make money on that order. Weird."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

Standard price is $19. Costco has the best price anywhere, by far, but they only sell hickory and mesquite. So of course that is where I buy my hickory and mesquite, but I also use apple, alder, and oak.Originally posted by kccougar View PostHow much does a bag of pellets cost? Whoa. Are they always that cheap, or is this just a sale?Originally posted by Shaka View Post"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

When you mentioned that I decided it was a great idea so I went out and got some plastic storage buckets at Maceys and I got the nice twist-on lids. I used to have piles of pellet bags kicking around in my garage, but now things are nice and tidy. I can put almost two bags per bucket. I have a chest for storing any extra bags.Originally posted by Shaka View PostI think they were that price when I purchased my smoker. Remember thee also sell the cool plastic storage bins for the chips. I will post a pic when I get home.

When I took the photo, I thought, "Dang, I need to zoom in close or this one photo will start a long thread on CUF."Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostLooks a lot like Wuaps carport."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those a very cool! The bins I got will only hold one bag. I may steal that idea from you.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWhen you mentioned that I decided it was a great idea so I went out and got some plastic storage buckets at Maceys and I got the nice twist-on lids. They are the six-gallon buckets from Maceys. Just go to the food storage supplies area. Be sure to get the good lids. They give you the free standard snap-on lids, and those are fine for long-term storage but they are a PITA if you are going to be getting into them frequently as in cases like this. For $6.99 or so you can get the lids shown in the photo where you snap on a rim but the lid is easily screwed on and off.Originally posted by Shaka View PostThose a very cool!
