I have been curious about that as well. Sam's is keeping up with Costco but both are significantly cheaper than anywhere else. It could have to do with the legislature letting the law expire that didn't allow gas to be sold below cost. As word gets around they may be able to increase memberships and then slowly creep up the gas prices to be back within 10 cents of market.

1.96 in Albuquerque last week. The oilfields of eastern New Mexico are starting to show signs of cooling down. A lot less economic activity going on down here.

Where is the bottom? The Gas Price Thread

Yesterday gas was $1.99 per gallon at the Costco in Orem. Never thought I would see that again in my lifetime. Now I am really curious to see how low it will go. Post your price updates here.

It's Official: $1.99 Gas Shows Up in Oklahoma City

A gas station in Oklahoma City has won the race to $2 gas.

GasBuddy.com said Wednesday an OnCue Express in Oklahoma City dropped its price 12 cents to $1.99 a gallon, becoming the first U.S. station to charge less than $2 a gallon since July 2010.

I haven't been outside for a while, but I guarantee it is nicer here than it is in Ohio.

I paid 3.65 yesterday, but at least that's down somewhat from the recent past. Feel free to move this to the What's Wrong With California? thread.
