Which vehicle for 50k

I was almost ready to pull the trigger on an Audi, when I found out Infiniti and Acura are having some special incentives to lease right now. Does anyone have any experience with the Infinite G or the Acura TL? I plan to drive all 3 next week. I will probably take the 335i for another spin, but I can't get past the perception I have of most BMW owners.

I used to drive a G and I really liked it, despite the verbal abuse I received on this board. I would definitely recommend getting one. Having said that, I'll be buying an A4 this weekend...gotta have those LED lights! Oh, and I'll be financing half of it at 0.9% APR for 36 months. If only we had someone this board that has enough financial experience to convince me otherwise.

It is amazing what a simple design change does for a car. The audi lights are probably the best headlights on the market that don't require a plastic surgeon.

No great reasons outside of aesthetics. Also, I've had a G so I'd like to try something new. My wife will be using it more than me (i walk to work), so she's driving this decision.

Other weak reasons include gas mileage and that quattros are easier to find than the AWD version of the G (getting a lightly used one). We go to Tahoe sometimes, hence the slight benefit.

You won't be disappointed with the G. If I don't like the Audi, I might go back, but I'm hoping I love it and then upgrade to an S5 when my mid life crisis hits.

In my neck of the woods, the moms drive the X5. You can't many kids or athletic equipment into a 3-series BMW.

Just purchased a 2009 A4 with 30K miles. So far no buyer's remorse, I really enjoy the iphone doc and voice command features. I absolutely love the LED lights, they will never be turned off.

I asked the saleswoman how many R8s she has sold. She said 2 in the last 1.5 years, one of them was a 23 year old who paid cash. Gotta love startups in the Bay Area.

That a4 is a nice ride. What color?

I saw a red r8 outside the moscone when I was there a couple of months ago. It was just parked on the street along the curb with every other car. Not sure I would leave my r8 there.

I think it's called quartz gray, I like it, although my first choice was black. But i'd rather have this color and all the amenities that I wanted than black and sacrifice something. We took it up to Marin County over the weekend and I continue to love it. Saw a few of the new A6s on the road, that is a gorgeous car, too. If I were Art, I'd consider upgrading to that.

I would never want an R8 in the city. I'm already pretty nervous about our A4 and it's just a used, entry level car. If I could ever afford an R8, it'd be at my home in the countryside.

i've looked and miatas on and off for the last year or so. love them.

For the budget conscious, I am not sure there is a better little sports car. It is a blast to drive and has great handling. The older Mazdaspeed Miata is particularly sweet.
