What needs to happen to increase the sales tax on pet food? Also, there should be an excise tax on pet owners, too.

I always think that people that take their dogs everywhere must live sad and lonely lives. I love dogs but I only take my dog on walks around the neighborhood. I can’t imagine taking a dog to a restaurant or grocery storeOriginally posted by falafel View Post
I always see people bringing their dogs to the grocery store. That is absolutely disgusting. I can understand Home Depot (my dad does that
) because I'm not eating most of the stuff I buy from there. But keep your nasty dog away from my food!

100%. I am almost to the age where I can get away with mumbling to myself about the stupidity of people bringing dogs into groceery stores.Originally posted by falafel View Post

That is because you are civilized.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostWe've taken our dogs to the outdoor seating of a few establishments. It's not often because it is kind of a hassle. You're hungry, they watch you eat, so you drop some fries their way.
We would never bring them into a store.

I get annoyed with dogs in most non park public spaces. My son is allergic to dogs and has asthma. The level of offense dog owners take when you get annoyed their pets are jumping on your allergic kid makes me crazy.Originally posted by falafel View Post

Sorry to hear that.Originally posted by bluegoose View PostMy dog, sensing that bigpiney would be at my house in January, decided to leave this earth a few weeks earlier, rather than subject himself to his fury. That is sad that you both had dogs.

BP might prefer to starve and die in the mountains.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
Ha maybe the translation should have been 3 dogs, roaming the earth and helping people, until Jesus comes back. I could believe in that.
When one of those 3 dogs finds you lost in the mountains and helps you get rescued BP, I hope you finally see the light.
