    Two words - Labra Doodle.

The Labra part makes for a great family pet.

The doodle part makes it tolerable for an allergy sufferer to co-exist with a pet.

Ours is about 2 years old and has been a great dog. He is active enough to go on a 10 mile run with me or my wife, yet he is calm enough to not tear the house or yard apart when left unattended. The kids would be crushed if anything happened to him.

Our current dog is a white miniture schnauzer, so we were told. We don't have papers or anything. We got him from the pound. All the dogs we have had have come from there or the humane society.

He's a likable little thing. He loves to walk! To him there is no such thing as a bad day for a walk

I'm a dog person. They make the greatest pets because of their loyalty and fun-loving nature. Our lab is about 18 months now and she is a great dog.

We had to put our first and only dog down a couple of years ago. Since then my kids have been begging for a dog. We just finished some landscaping and as soon as a get a fence put up I've told them we will get another. Not sure yet what we will get.

Id love to get rid of my dog. Its a really cute Jack Russell. He is annoying and my wife is really, really allergic to him, but she wont let me get rid of him. He has been getting better lately though. I think he see the writing on the wall. I noticed lately he is getting glaucoma in one eye, or has some damage. There is a small grey spot in the middle of his eye.

The cute yorkie I got my wife as a valentines day present was killed by a dog from up the street. The owner had him in the field behind the house chasing rabbits and it saw my little yorkie who had gotten out into the front yard somehow. Anyways, it saw him and it jumped from the bed of the truck it was in and took him out. It was a sad day.

I really do love dogs, it just never works out.

    The Dog Lover Thread

I never see any posts here about dogs, although muuser's avatar is of a good-looking pooch. I love dogs. Right now we have two: A 14.5 year-old mixed breed (Chow and Shepherd, a mix that produced the sweetest-natured dog I've ever known) and a 2.5 year-old Australian Shepherd, an energetic working breed that is scary smart. And lovable.

Who else loves dogs around here?
