Our resolve lasted all of one month. Say hello to Cassie, a bouvier:

This was taken when she was 8 weeks old. She's now just a couple of inches shorter than Apollo, and when done growing will be at least twice as heavy as him.
Karma hit Apollo hard. Cassie is pretty much the same pain in the ass as he was with Star. He was certainly skittish around her the first couple of days:

But he has learned to live with her being up in his business all the time:

There are some days, however, that he can't hide his feelings about her:

Anyways, we've been pretty busy with training these past couple of months, and we are finally seeing the fruits of it. She's a very smart and inquisitive dog. Apollo can usually get the best of her in their daily wrestling matches. But it'll be interesting to see what happens when she towers over him.
For those of you who are interested, bouviers have an interesting history. Bred as working and herding dogs, they were nearly decimated during WWI because so many were killed in the line of duty. A lot of them were put to use hauling carts of supplies.
Edit: dammit. At least 3 of 4 pics uploaded right side up.
