Thought it might be a ferry that went to both from a third location, so I was planning to select the port in Aruba but accidentally zoomed in on the peninsula thinking it was Aruba (and surprised it wasn't an island). My error got me closer than my Aruba guess would have. Just went with the default 1962 again.

9530 - 2 years, 42.5 km - Didn't see an airport around Jerusalem, so just selected a random spot near Jerusalem. Default 1962 wasn't terrible.
