Agreed. She was amazing in all of those. Such great chemistry with Eugene Levy.

      • Oh wow. I knew she wasn't young but I didn't think of her as that old.

As a kid who strongly identified with the plight of Kevin McCallister, I always sort of side eyed her (Schitt’s Creek didn’t really help).
While I didn't think so when the movie came out, I can now verify that Kevin's mom was pretty hot.

RIP Catherine. I was a big fan of SCTV when I was a kid. What an amazing group of comic talent.

There was a time when the 70s seemed really old. Now that I'm 73, they still do. I hope some of you will be able to experience them.

I spent 6 months in the 70s one year. '79, to be exact.

                Same, but in utero.

Not old enough to die! Not just old.

Apologies PAC, and any of you seasoned others who are approaching those years.

She was only 71. That's not old. My dad is 73 - I am amazed he outlived Catherine O'Hara. She was working up to the end. I enjoyed her turn in The Studio on Apple. I wonder how that will be worked in to the show.

                          I'm voting pneumonia.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

He did a lot of passing.
