    The voice actor of Optimus Prime, amongst many other things, has passed away today. As an early 50's something, this one guts me. Transformers was a formative part of my life since I was like 10 years old.

Namesake of two colleges of engineering, broker of a sweetheart deal to keep the LDS Institute building at ASU near campus, and the financier behind thousands of scholarships for LDS students at ASU. My understanding is that BYU didn’ t get all the money initially pledged, but the dude definitely knew how to distribute funds.
