I'm not sure what you mean by red carpet special, but there aren't many drives (Western Texas along I-10 is supposedly one of them) that are more miserable than the Eastern 2/3 of Oregon. The speed limit, IIRC, is 60mph and Oregon has cops all over the place. Few if any drivers go much over 65.
