I definitely stopped wearing watches around the time I left Utah for hotter spheres, and although some applications could potentially be cool, I just don't see it happening at that price point. I don't care if I can send my heartbeat to someone or not. Apple, you got me with the macbook pro and you got me with the iphone and I may even get an ipad at some point, but don't push your luck, dood. Looks better than the ugly garmin vivofit thing I wear now. The garmin iPhone software sucks but I assume that apple will get it right.

They put it in the iWatch as well (i.e. you just tap your wrist instead of your butt or where ever your phone may be) and you can "upload" all your credit cards to select which one to use.

I don't like watches and never wear one and I doubt I'll ever wear an Apple Watch. Now, if the watch worked in a way that I didn't even need my phone, then I might buy one.

Apparently it works without an iPhone (but I assume that just means it can work with other phones).

I just don't understand why people keep buying a phone with lagging specs simply because it is Apple.

By the way, I recently got the LG G3 and it really is a fantastic phone. The display convinced me to move away from Samsung and I'm happy with that decision.

Exactly. What's the point of a watch like this if you still need your phone in your pocket? Maybe women will like it as they can keep their phone buried in their purse and still see who's calling or texting...but I'm not adding another thing to my person.
