it helps to have 100% of torque available all the time. the downside is that the battery temps severely limit the amount of time you can drive like that. also, that review is awful. tesla's competition is not an alpina b7.

Is that a good or a bad ? That's perfect for a commuter car. Not so hot for road trips, but not impossible, either.

Im with you. Im just saying that they are finally migrating towards something that is at least acceptable. I've always considered tesla to be kind of a joke car for Silicon Valley types. Tesla is great car if you dont care about going fast, but for whatever reason you do care about getting to that pathetic top speed really quickly.

Are you the type to drive a car into the ground or keep it for 4-7 years? If you want to drive it into the ground, I might think about the 2014 because you'll get more mileage out of it. Heated steering wheels are also really nice in the winter.

Definitely the 2014. It still has the full warranty (you'll need it on a Kia) and it has more options. Also, I like lighter interiors as they are cooler in the summer.

$19k for a 3 year old Kia seems like a lot, especially if it's been through two owners already.

Of course, if you are a woman, then pick the car based on the color.

So I'm in the market for another teenager car. The Mini Cooper got totaled a month before my oldest went into the MTC. I know I should buy a 1984 Dodge Omni for my second son to drive, but I want something that would be a little fun for me to drive on occasion as well. And for the last year I've had a strange urge to have a convertible. Do I buy a convertible for a 16-year old driver in a cold weather state that will have to be parked outside or do I find something more practical?
