    At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

                Doesn't RES seat around 45K? That is a scrappy facility they have there. Ute alums should be proud to have something that houses around 39K total fans every home game. That is no small accomplishment!

                    Utah sells out most games. Which is good considering that more than half of the population where it resides are fans of its rivals either by going there or by religion.

                    Quite Frankly due to the Olympics Utah has the nicest stadium in the conference and is nicer than most of the pac-10

                        Again, I totally agree. Basically as a result of global intervention, the U was finally able to improve its facilities.

                        You seem to be supporting what I am saying. If Utah sells out "most" games, that means that some games are hosting around 39-40K. That is still respectable. Nothing to be ashamed of there. Seriously.

                                I see your point. I, too, am impressed that the school has finally decided to make literacy and competency a prerequisite to on-campus employment.

                                Again, kudos to the U and good luck to the 39K or so strong as they take on Utah State in their opener.

                                    I am glad you got your ticket situation worked out. I was just gloating because I got the same Ute tickets this year that I had last year. Truth be told, I have heard of other Ute fans who haven't been so lucky.
