Doesn't RES seat around 45K? That is a scrappy facility they have there. Ute alums should be proud to have something that houses around 39K total fans every home game. That is no small accomplishment!Originally posted by LA Ute View PostThat must be it. I am glad that attendance is sufficiently low at Utah that the Ute ticket office was able to look at the seat row and numbers by my name from last year and give me tickets corresponding to the same seat row and numbers this year. Quite a feat. I guess when there are many people who want tickets, it is much harder to keep track of the seat numbers people had last year. It must be so confusing!Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Utah sells out most games. Which is good considering that more than half of the population where it resides are fans of its rivals either by going there or by religion.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDoesn't RES seat around 45K? Quite Frankly due to the Olympics Utah has the nicest stadium in the conference and is nicer than most of the pac-10"Be a philosopher. A man can compromise to gain a point. Again, I totally agree. Basically as a result of global intervention, the U was finally able to improve its facilities.Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View PostUtah sells out most games. You seem to be supporting what I am saying. If Utah sells out "most" games, that means that some games are hosting around 39-40K. That is still respectable. Nothing to be ashamed of there. Seriously.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

You win. We don't have fans with the single-minded devotion of BYU's Utah-based fans. For that I am truly, deeply grateful.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDoesn't RES seat around 45K? [EDIT:] I'm also grateful that our ticket office personnel are competent and can read. That was my original point, which, strangely, you do not respond to.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

I see your point. I, too, am impressed that the school has finally decided to make literacy and competency a prerequisite to on-campus employment.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostI'm also grateful that our ticket office personnel are competent and can read. Again, kudos to the U and good luck to the 39K or so strong as they take on Utah State in their opener.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Anyway, Lebowski . . .
I am glad you got your ticket situation worked out. I was just gloating because I got the same Ute tickets this year that I had last year. Truth be told, I have heard of other Ute fans who haven't been so lucky.
As for TD, I can see that I am simply going to have to challenge him to a duel. The real fight will be over which one of us gets to have SU as his second.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Got my season tickets last week. After two years of enduring snafus, I am finally back down in my old spot.
