No it isn't. I am surprised how many people here say they will be really disappointed if we don't win the next four games. Why? Here are our odds according to Massey:

Toledo - 60%
South Florida - 69%
BSU - 35%
USU - 25%

If you run the math on those win probabilities, our odds of winning all four games = 3.6%. Not bloody likely.

I think we go 2-2 or 1-3 over the next 4. BSU and USU are likely losses. All along I have thought 6-6 is what we will do even though we will be better than last year it won’t show up in the record.

However, with this coaching staff a combined 1-5 against BSU and USU and with NIU and UMass in mind, I think that is a less likely scenario.

I think we go 2-2 in the next 4 games and then win the last 4 to end up 8-4 on the season. But 7-5 might be more likely. I think we do better than 6-6.

Put me down for 3-1 over the next 4 (the loss is up in Logan) and a final regular season record of 9-3. I think we beat Boise this year as it took extreme final minute coaching ineptitude to lose to them in Boise last year.
