Make your bets - Ken turned down the job and Holmoe is moving on to Choice #2 or Ken said yes and Tom is going to try to convice Kalani to make a lateral move for less money all in the name of BYU Sports.Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

Or #4, Ken wants the job but will only accept it if he can install the triple option. Holmoe said "No Way!" so we are moving on to someone that actually knows an iota about BYU football and BYU tradition.Originally posted by jay santos View PostI'm going with #3 Ken is asking for too much, so Holmoe's bringing in Sitake to negotiate Ken N down."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. Specifically, his first choice, who can't talk to him until next week.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHolmoe is keeping all his options open.
This is exactly what I would do if I really had my sights set on Whit--distract everyone with a thorough search, and thus have backup plans in place if I can't land my first choice. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

From what I know of the candidates, which is admittedly not much, he is my choice, too.Originally posted by TexTechCoug View PostI am still pulling for Lance Anderson"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

I want Sherwood Anderson. I want him to coach the offense against the other team's offiense QUESTION MARK.Last edited by Blueintheface; 12-14-2015, 10:23 PM."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Sometimes I dream things before they happen. Unless I'm going on a recruiting trip with Ken Niumatalolo, I doubt this was the case. However, I did dream that he was the new HC. He was going to recruit players for the football team, and I was going with him to gauge their interest in the military (no I'm not a recruiter.)
One other thing, I practiced saying his name throughout the dream, and I woke up being able to say and spell it fluently.

Your taxpayer dollars at workOriginally posted by smokymountainrain View PostI was told by somebody who would know, Navy would beat any offer for Ken. Granted, this source has been wrong before, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I am not sure that the Navy could beat any offer but I am sure there are a lot of benefits and things the defense department pays for that BYU couldn't match...Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostI was told by somebody who would know, Navy would beat any offer for Ken.
