Anderson has been my realistic choice from the beginning. I think that he has been a winner at every level he's been at and has succeeded without the hand-holding (cough*Sitake*cough) from someone else. Along with that, his recruiting skills are fantastic and would be very valuable in his position as HC.

That being said, if we can pry Whit away from Utah, go for it. But if the realistic choices are KenN, Sitake and Anderson, I would choose Anderson every time.

I am also on the Anderson wagon. From what I understand, he's a great recruiter to a program with stick entrance requirements who's coordinated successful defenses for several years, learning from a couple really good head coaches. Only down side I'm aware of is no particular ties to BYU. If we can get him, let's get him.

I too see the lack of buzz. I don't think that necessarily weighs all that heavily into whether he would be a good hire.

Eleven years as head coach is a really long tenure in today's environment. I'm not sure why people feel shafted. He was one of the top ten tenured coaches in the country and we had a good run. Let him get paid. Let him take on the new challenge that he seems so keen to. Not every coach needs to be a lifer. Not even the top programs in the country get that.

I agree. I want a "BYU guy"...and I think/hope TH does as well. This would make the only logical choices in my mind Whit and Kalani. Both are not perfect, but are "BYU guys". The Ken N love is puzzling to me. I know he is a great member of the church, but I don't think he is a "BYU guy". Therefore, I am apt to believe that the BOT are pushing the "spiritual guy" instead of the "BYU guy". In the end, "spiritual guy" is all Bronco was and is.
