I was wondering if these kids are more likely to be committed to BYU or to Bronco. I would think the former over the latter, but who knows.

I saw several comment on twitter that they're still in but with possible significant staff changes all bets are off.

On the other hand, don't be surprised to see Sitake back at BYU.
I don't know if BYU was even given a chance. He got the offer three hours before he said yes and news was released.

Oh boy. Covey is a nice talent, but Anae is consistently one of the best OC's in the country.

You don't believe Anae wasn't promised a shot when Bronco left? I am suspicious we're left with Anae.

Which suggests Bronco had already decided to leave. It was just a matter of where.

              • Is this what all the "Pray for Pres. Monson" posts were about yesterday on Facebook?

Surprising that so many don't think he knows how to pray himself.

BYU had a pretty big mid year signing that included Troy Warner. So there is at least that.

                    • LOL... KWhit must really want the job and is taking a pay cut to get it.

Seems pretty obvious he's either FOS or jumping the gun with the first thing a higher level booster tells him without thinking about it. If you look at his timeline he walks it back after everyone calls him out on it.

Yeah I'm glad he's already locked in.

That isn't exactly correct. Bronco received the offer after the Utah state game. He received the paperwork with final terms three hours before the team meeting. By that point he had already met with Virginia and discussed terms, etc. but your point still stands. He said that he takes it year to year, I guess he was telling the truth.

Signing financial aid paperwork does not lock a player into a school. It does lock the school in(meaning as long as they enroll, they have a scholarship). The only thing that locks a player to a school is a LOI, and there isn't an early signing for high school players. They can only sign in February.
