What a great opportunity to teach a lesson on grace, forgiveness, and redemption. The university and the athletic department are in a great position to demonstrate charity, and I think they will.

I know this is directed at the Davis incident, but you juxtapose that with Santiago announcing to the CC today that Fous is getting baptized in France. I'm hearing this 2nd hand, but it seems Fous recognized the difference in lifestyle between BYU students and BB players in Europe and decided the church was right for him.

I also saw some interview with Egor where he talked about something similar. He missed the Provo lifestyle. Most of the players on his team now are married and some have kids, so they don't hang out with the team. The ones that aren't married usually go out drinking and such and that isn't for him.

Funny, because whoever GrayMountain is believes that no sports-related conversion has ever lasted more than two weeks.

Gray stopped going to church during Covid. He strikes me as a far right guy who would buy in to the Deep Church theory of Tim Ballard. At least, that’s my impression of him.

I think that is pretty clear. Does he have a direct line to Nephi like Tim Ballard? Or does he just rely on Tim Ballard's Nephi connection?

LOL! Thank you for this link! Although that guy raises some very compelling discussion, it is not me, nor do I think that this guy would cheer for the U anytime soon. In fact, I think he cares SO MUCH about BYU, he isn't afraid to 'say what needs to be said.'

I perused some of his previous posts and found this gem, which will REALLY make you have a hard think about whether you are hardcore enough COJCOLDS to actually take a stand. Meaningful sacrifices need to be made. Maybe Cougar sports is one of them? Do you have enough faith???

This short reminded me of when UU/BYU weren't in the same conference. I think UU can take credit for BYU's recent "gains" now that we're "back in the same gym."

Whew, thank you for confirming you are not GrayMountain. And thank you for that tweet for further context.

                          That tweet had this:

They would also... clean house at BYU . . .
                          Sooooo, LAPUKE?
                          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
