He was serious and I didn't see him again until after the game. The dude is intense and certifiably nuts, but he's BYU blue to the core. I get the dislike for him -- he enjoys the spotlight and inserts himself into it often. He's a polarizing personality and definitely a throwback to Lavell's BYU before Bronco (in Derik's opinion) implemented his pussification of the program. Walking around with him pregame as contingents of dorks kept coming up to him to let him know they follow him on twitter was incredibly awkward, but the guy has a good heart even if he is enjoying his remaining celebrity. Just thought I'd add a couple thoughts as someone who has hung around him a bit.
