What is Utah's record, in conference, since joining the P12? I would assume it's around .500 for FB, and slightly below for BB. I honestly have no clue.

Interesting. confirms what i sense from living in P12 country- most people feel about the Utes the way I did CSU in the MWC (I rarely thought about them other than the day of the game, and always felt like BYU should beat them, even if they were having the rare above-average year)

When I learned rugby on my mission the guys on the club team initially mocked my comp and I because we played that yank gridiron football that's been sissyfied with a suit of armor. Tough rugby guys didn't need all that protective stuff because they were extra manly. This mocking lasted until I blasted their fly half (who thought he was Naas Botha) with a perfect form tackle and knocked the snot out of him. After that they figured out that the tackling in the two sports was different and that they ought to shut up. On the other hand picking up the, "gator roll" wasn't all that easy for me and I had to work at it for a bit. I think it's a great technique but only as a supplement the standard form tackle.

                  and twitter is all abuzz.

                  BYU #111
                  Utah #214

                  (out of ~1000 undergrad programs)

For some odd reason, the main response from Ute fans is "Stanford is higher than BYU".

Rankings are based on mid-career salary. I imagine both schools would probably rank higher (esp BYU) if not for the high rate of women grads leaving the workforce for motherhood.

The Stanford stuff if probably fallout from something Cahoon said on the radio a day or two ago about Stanford degrees not being as valuable in Utah. I didn't hear it, just saw the pissing matches over it on Twitter.

That mid career is nearly six figures.

That's probably true though, right? I mean, a Stanford law grad is going to make the same as a byu or Utah law grad at a salt lake firm.

I'm not going to argue ether side, but I assume he meant a 4 year degree, and that is also what JL referred to in the article linked as well.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Byu's professional schools have been better for decades. Utahs business school is a joke.

And have you seen the mutants they allow to graduate? Interviewing these people can be quite an adventure.
