It's only been open 17 hours. At this rate the goal will be met in 35 days. And that's not even accounting for accelerated donations when this surely goes viral!

I think $12K is a little low given all the meteor talk.

I'm laughing thinking what level of depravity Taysom would have to sink to in order to suit up for Utah. Here's an academic stalwart whose options are 1. Scrooge McDuck paper 2. NFL 3. MBA/Advanced degree and monster senior season somewhere. His best chance to show and prove one last time in college is in the offense he knows inside and out at BYU, and he could hypothetically transfer to play with Harbaugh, but why not learn and run an anemic offense with no receivers and no running backs with an ugly red mountain on your sleeve? That's almost a The Longest Yard scenario.

Sounds likes a lot of money to pay for 30 minutes of football greatness

If #1-#6 equals "one of the best teams," I suppose he's technically correct.

The Utes go 2-3 against the other members of the South Division and are co-champs of the division?! Is that like being tied for smartest kid on the short bus?

I guess if their coaches are inept at recruiting a QB then the fans need to at least try

We should start putting 5 bucks in at a time and put the name as "Chris Hill", "Kyle Whittingham", "Spence Eccles" and stuff like that.

This is purely curiosity on my part - but what percent of QB's recruited to Utah are still QB's by the time they leave?

Here are the guys I can find:

                                Alex Smith- stayed at QB
Kevin Dunn- Transferred to USD where he played D-line (not sure if Utah switched him to a lineman or USD, either way let's count it)
                                Brett Ratliff- stayed at qb
                                Brian Johnson- stayed at qb
Corbin Louks- played all over the place, transferred to Nevada where he played receiver.
                                Chad Manis- switched to linebacker
                                Griff Robles- switched to linebacker
                                Terrence Cain- stayed at qb
                                Jordan Wynn- stayed at qb
                                Brian Blechen- switched to linebacker/safety
Tyler Shreve- transferred to a JC
                                Travis Wilson- stayed at qb
Brandon Cox- He would get switched if he could stay healthy
Donovan Isom- lol I remember all the hype about this kid, a black kid from Louisiana, he had a MIami offer!! Ute fans were all ready to anoint him the next big thing. He transferred to Southeastern Louisiana.
Connor Manning- still sitting bench as a qb
Chase Hansen- switched to safety before he blew out his knee

16 qb commits, and 9 of the 16 either switched positions and/or transferred.
