  • I remember during the ASU/Utah game Rod Gilmore said that if Utah hung on to win the PAC12 south race was over. LOL. What a dunce. He probably also thinks the Utes are very very good.

    • Go back and look at Utah's last several years. For all the talk of what a dominant defense they have they always seem to have 2 or 3 games where they get hammered. They have been consistently hanging around the 30ish range as a team though.

      • Brother Asiata,

Bless you for your faith. I hate to break it to you, but Jesus couldn't care less whether or not you win that football game. Trust me, I have some experience in this matter.

          • Things that might be made strong:

            1. Travis wilsons arm
            2. Whits game plan
            3. Utah secondary
            4. Domos ability to tackle a receiver
            Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

              • Just a heads up, Kvn has more sacks on the season than Paul Kruger.

KVN basically played defense for the first time this season today. Maybe Paul Kruger should quit football.

The Browns have made that decision for him, he is pretty much relegated to the bench because he sucks. Plays maybe 8-10 snaps a game over the last 3 games.

                    He is awful.

It looks like his pro career is almost over. Not horrible for him though. He got a big contract, played in a super bowl, and had an 11 sack season

It could have been worse, he could have a pro career where he was cut before his rookie deal, rarely played, had multiple teams give up on him, and ultimately be out of the league before he was 26.

As usual you are way off base. But it's cool, keep comparing everyone to Jimmer. I think you forget about endorsements when comparing dollar figures. Also NFL contracts are not guaranteed which means Kruger will not make all of that money. He is at about 24 million if we include this year. Jimmer is at 8.5 million, his endorsements were between 5-7 million a year. Even if that was for 3 years, he has still exceeded Krugers earnings.

                        Nice try though.

Didn't realize we were talking about total monetary compensation, I thought we were talking about quality of career. I used the big contract as a performance marker for Kruger.

It could have been WAY worse than that. He could have been a quasi-anonymous schlub on the internet fighting an endless series of meaningless pissing contests.

                              Yikes. Can you imagine?

Who cares? Really, do you think anyone really cares at all? Do you enjoy Ute games more because Jimmer got cut? Do you think I might enjoy BYU games less because Jimmer was cut, or because Andre Miller is still hanging on in the NBA? This whole approach of yours has to be one of the dumbest things I have read on this board. Don't you realize that obsessing gleefully over the pro career of a college athlete like Jimmer makes you look petty and provincial and silly? This crap doesn't belong in the rivalry thread; it belongs in the "stuff you shouldn't even have to waste your time scrolling past" thread. I do realize, however, that my little rant will never dissuade you (although it did help me vent) so have fun. Maybe you can tell me some other failing of Jimmer as a send off this evening?
                                PLesa excuse the tpyos.
