I mean, they played two weeks ago. What's changed for you that you think this could happen?

My fantasy is Utah vs BYU (undefeated) in the B12 Championship. Utah wins, advances to CFP, but BYU is selected for at-large CFP bid and placed in the same bracket as Utah. Holy war matchup #3 in the CFP helps Utah extend it's win streak to 2 in the very season that BYU extended theirs to 3. IF THERE IS A FOOTBALL GOD, MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR GOOD OL' COACH WHITT!!!!!!!!!! I love Aggies. They’re like byu grads who drink.
but as I tell my kids when they pitch TAMU as an option—in our family, we only let one organization cause us to do inexplicably strange things —and it’s not TAMU!!!

I didn't mind A&M when they were in the SWC and the Big-XII. My dad's co worker went there and was awesome. Gave me an A&M shirt as a kid. The move to the SEC and the ridiculous inferiority complex with Texas has been annoying. However, this is what made me hate them:Originally posted by Copelius View Post

I have hated TAMU since 1990, and the attitude of the TAMU cadets and alumni in the military only served to augment my detest of them.

Exactly.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostEvery single team in the top 25 with the exception of Ohio State, TAMU, and Indiana has flaws and that’s ok. I actually think there isn’t much difference between the teams 4-25. It’s just the nature of college football. 4-25 are good team and not mediocre, but they have flaws and could all beat each other on any given day. It’s what makes it fun!!
Except TAMU is going to lose to Texas.

They are a Top-25 team. It's hard not to be good when you have their offensive line.

Spoken like someone who doesn’t watch CFB. We’ve wiped the floor with the ACC. lower tier b12 ISU beat a now-ranked Iowa.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post
I think the entire top of the Big12 this year is at best middling.
BYU's best win: Utah at home. That isn't an impressive win at all.
Texas Tech's best win: Utah on the road. Also, not an impressive win at all. They also lost to a bad ASU team.
Utah's best win. ASU and Cincinnati. Neither are good teams.
Cincinnati. Not even sure what is their best win. They haven't beaten a team that would even be a top 50 team.
Houston. Same as Cincinnati.
ASU. Same as Houston/Cincinnati.
The plain fact is that the Big12 is really not good this year. Every ranked team is vastly overrated. Utah shouldn't be ranked. Cincinnati shouldn't be ranked. BYU and Texas Tech should be in the 20 - 25 range.
The top of B12 is not the SEC. But they are also not that far off from the top of the B10.
