Beck is bringing his guy from UNM, I'm sure.

uofutah fans are taking this all pretty hard.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

This Bronco era BYU offensive staff running Utah's offense now is absolutely bizarre to witness. Jason Beck, Mark Atuaia, Micah Simon. I assume maybe a couple of others? Just strange.

Plus he's only 5'10""-5'11". Kinda small. But he's shifty and can run the ball, so we can struggle with that type of QB, so who knows. But since he runs so much, I wonder if he'll last the season. He'll face bigger, faster defenses.

Any Robert Anae characteristics? I remember both the Spread and Go Fast Go Hard from him.

LOL! Yeah, these are terrible defenses, unlike powerhouses such as El Camino, Fullerton, or the dreaded San Mateo, the likes of which Retzlaff had to face to earn his way onto BYU's roster. Transfer QBs never work out leveling up. EVER.

You are making my case for me. Were you guys scared to death of Retzlaff based on those numbers? I don't think so.

This new guys might be great at Utah, who knows? But no reason at all to be "scared to death" based on the data we have.

Hey, Pepa is in the portal today. Will the last guy to enter the portal turn out the lights?

As soon as Whittingham announced he Utah was coming back in 2025, Utah's players all jumped into the portal. Coincidence?

I gotta admit, that was weird. Getting a constant stream of "uofutah has a special culture" and "they do it the right way" makes it all the more odd. They had a pretty impressive signing day. Whahappen?

Damn it, Wally! Talk all the trash you want about El Camino and San Mateo, but I'll be damned if you go after the University of the Corner of Lemon and Chapman!!! Scott Giles, former BYU linebacker, is the athletic director there!!! How the hell dare you?!!

Funny story from my wife's piano studio:

One of her students comes from a family of Utah fans. He's the youngest of 5, about 8 or 9. He is a huge BYU fan and spends a lot of time during his lesson talking about BYU, sometimes to the detriment of the lesson. He was going off today during lesson and my wife asked him who taught him to be a BYU fan since his whole family are Utah fans. He gave her a look as off to say "Duh" and said, "Jesus."

Kid will be a great missionary.
