Bruh, the center stripe on the helmets is actually seven stripes. Siete. Sept. There is nothing clean about that. But if you remove all of the striping, then you basically have Penn State with Red shoulders. Clean, sure, but let's not pretend those are anything worth acknowledging.Originally posted by The_Tick View Post
To be fair...if you take the striping off of the shoulders, those things are pretty clean.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Yes, the uniforms are not good, but back to that production. What is it? Teased Top Gun, and then . . . . pictures with the pilot.
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It doesn't get mentioned that there are more than one Ute tribe and not all of them have a part of the whole arrangement. The university would have everyone perceive there is solid acceptance from the Native community when it's still divisive.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWow. That’s pretty shocking.

HEY! My daughter is probably going to enroll there.Originally posted by All-American View Post
Maybe Utah State can do it. Have you seen their coeds? They definitely admit cows.
And my mom, grandmother, and grandfather are all alums. Careful when your daughters start applying to universities.

Every one of my grandparents went to USU (or UAC in their cases). When you come from a farming family, a lot of them went there. Logan is a great town. The factory outlets on the west side of the valley provide a lot a cheap food for college kids. You get out of a USU degree what you put in.Originally posted by falafel View Post

It cracks me up that Wilner, a sportswriter with the San Jose Mercury News, writes a weekly column about Utah and BYU.
One would think writing about Bay Area schools like Stanford and Cal, or even San Francisco or St Mary’s, and throwing in all the west coast schools from the old PAC12, would keep a Bay Area columnist like Wilner fully engaged.
I guess BYU and Utah draw clicks/eyeballs so it makes sense to write about stuff that will pays the bills. But I still think it’s funny (bemusing?).
