  • When I post about Ute fans, I think of them as imaginary people since there are little to none that live in my neck of the woods. It's kind of sad that such a large university has such a small geographical footprint in terms of where its graduates live. I imagine there are a larger number of Ute grads that have moved to Oregon for work (for obvious reasons) but we have very few in Houston.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

triple digit temperatures paired with near triple digit humidity. Only to increase with climate change.

Yes, I too wonder why Houston isn't a destination.... (c:

No question. HFN is a huge draw. Many people want to meet him and end up enjoying the scenery/weather. Sorry that more people don't want to meet you, you are just not that interesting.

              • I hate Utah players. I don't care when bad things happen to them. I am not wishing or hoping but I have zero emotion. I don't feel bad for him or hope he gets the help that is needed. I feel nothing at all, life goes on.

I learned in church that just because something is popular, it doesn't mean it is good for you.

                    And super gay-friendly!

On a related note, during my time at BYU (as a TBM obviously) I recall hearing for the first time that Houston had become the San Francisco of The South. With cada fiber de mi ser I knew right then and there...that I needed to get out more.

Your point was essentially who wants to live in that hell hole. My response is that more people than in almost any other American city.

No, my point was no utes want to live in that hell hole.

(wasn't that your point? No utes in Houston?)

I get that these things do affect the teams, potentially the outcomes of games, etc, but the discussions rarely center on that part of it.
I never suggested that, therefore I will decline to elaborate. Neither is it particularly important to talk about fall camp online when I have work to do, or enjoy the Utah/BYU threads thread. Where this is a sports forum and every single aspect is dissected, parsed, and to oblivion-- especially in the offseason-- I don't think any news about a player is out of place here.

I haven't engaged in this bullshit and I don't appreciate the implication that I have. I did in the past, but it has been at least over 5 years since I've come to your side on this one.

Funny you bring up Davies, because I fully supported him and criticized the hell out of byu for suspending him and then using him to promote themselves as morally superior to everyone. Davies was screwed over by byu. Davies deserved no criticism and no suspension.

Also, check out my history with Max Halls arrest and how I reacted to that before you lump me in there.
Wait, did you really just say that?
