With the Nebraska suspensions, a rumor is that one of their starting OLBs will be suspended since Nebraska released a depth chart and Blackshirts were handed out. Issuing Blackshirts to defensive starters is a 50-year-old Cornhusker tradition and one of their OLBs was not issued a Blackshirt but was still listed as the starter at strong-side LB. If true, it would mean both starting OLBs for the BYU game will true Freshmen. It's fairly rare for a true Freshman to start at LB for Nebraska but I can think of at least one other instance. Can't recall having two true Freshman start in a LB corps at Nebraska.

Think that Riley might announce the Nebraska player suspensions during his Thursday presser. Any official word out of Provo on BYU's player suspensions?

Suspensions will be announced after the game, which basically means watch the game and notice who doesn't play.

you cant be officially suspended until the game has been played. As of now, he is only scheduled to be suspended. for example, you are going to die soon but you arent dead, if that distinction makes sense.
