What is the over/under on that? Can we get a poll going and make some bets?

I just asked BYU OL Tejan Koroma whether he will play against Nebraska. "I guess we will see on Saturday," he said.

Then I asked Tejan Koroma whether he will be on the airplane Friday: "Hopefully," he said. "You know what I mean?"

Jay Drew ‏@drewjay 4h4 hours ago
Koroma on why he didn't play in any of the scrimmages: "I think it was for the best interest of the team. Just see who else can play center"

I asked Koroma if he has been asked to not say whether he'll play. "Yeah, so we will just see, come Saturday. We will just see how it goes."
                  This is funny stuff.

Also - Jay is a bit of a dick to put Koroma on the spot like that.

This is not the Jay Santos of 1994-2008 speaking, so my opinion is not that educated and may not be worth much. But I actually hope Taysom runs just as much as he ever did. In 2013, he carried the ball 18.9 times a game. In 2014, he carried the ball 14.5 times a game.

If Taysom wasn't a threat to run the ball, I don't think he'd be a starting D1 QB. He's not a packet passer, and I doubt all of a sudden he's going to turn into one. I don't think it's a tremendous risk for him to carry the ball the same level he did in 2013, and I hope he does.

As a dual threat QB, I think Taysom's one of the best QB's in the nation. If he continues where he left off last year, I expect huge success on offense. If they try to limit his runs and force him to be a pocket passer, we might be OK but not special.

I'm hoping he runs less and passes more. By all accounts, prior to injury last year his passing had improved. And I'm hoping it has improved more.

So, while I'm hoping he runs less - especially designed runs. I'm also hoping that he breaks a couple of 40-50+ yard runs for a TD each game. Just enough to keep the other side honest and want to apply pressure while being MUCH more worried about containment. Which, theoretically, could give him more time to throw.

I think he is trolling Jay. But yes, Jay is a dick. I wish they'd get someone who actually wanted to do the beat.

Hill's QBR listed on ESPN would have been 3rd best in the country if maintained through the entire season. (I'm assuming "adjusted qbr" on his page is the same as "total qbr" on the season leaders page.)

I believe adjusted QBR takes into account rushing by the QB.
