Pac 12 is currently 1-5 vs teams in the CFP top 25. worst record of all the p5 conferences. yikes. We will see two conferences left out of the playoff if Notre Dame wins out.

Someone at work just sent me this quote. Whoever wrote it is arguing in favor of Baylor.

"It's punishment for a weak non-conference schedule but it's not a reflection of how this team plays. Let's put it this way. The committee has decided that Notre Dame has shown itself to be better at this point, right? Notre Dame is 5 and Baylor is 6. Notre Dame just beat Temple by four points. Let's send Baylor to Temple to play. I will give any member of the committee Temple plus 5 (I'm giving them an extra point, I'm being generous). Will my phone ring? No, it will not."

Ok, so wait a minute. Baylor's schedule hasn't just been a little weak. It's been PATHETIC. In fact, it's so weak that the K-State team they just beat by just seven points is arguably the best team they have played so far, even though it is a team team riding a five game losing streak, including a 15 point loss to a Texas team that is so bad the fans want to fire the coach in only his second year. They also needed 3 OTs to beat La. Tech. Baylor's other wins are against SMU, Lamar, Rice, Texas Tech, Kansas, W. Virginia, and Iowa State. The point is we don't really know how good Baylor is until they play more teams that aren't terrible. As it is, their prolific offense seemed a lot less prolific against a mediocre at best K-State team.

Also, the reference to Notre Dame vs. Temple is interesting. He brings up ND winning a close game there but completely ignores Baylor's close win over KState, which again, is laughingly the BEST team Baylor has even played and is way worse than Temple.

I know Baylor tends to score eleventy billion points, but I think they are the worst of the unbeaten in the Big 12 and also not as good as Oklahoma. I think Baylor is going to get dumptrucked by TCU and will finish with at least two losses. The Big 12's only hope for a playoff berth is Baylor because I don't think a one loss Oklahoma gets in.

I could live with this 16 team playoff.

Yeah, I don't think Baylor goes undefeated anyway. They still have to play the good teams in their league and I highly doubt they win all four of those games. It's dumb to get that upset about their snub right now anyway because they will get their chance. But despite how many points they can score, they've also given up too many points to mediocre teams. That makes me think they won't sweep OU, Okie State, TCU and Texas.

mathematically, only one team from the b12 can emerge undefeated. Anyone with one loss will likely be left out because on the last weekend of the year all b12 teams are idle.

Baylor will lose at least once.
                Oklahoma State will lose.
TCU has the best chance of winning out.

I am pulling for OK State tomorrow because I think OK state will lose Bedlam anyway.

Baylor will probably lose to both TCU and Oklahoma. they barely outscored a very inept K State.

Lol, Cincy stops Houston on 4th and goal and got 4 unsportsmanlike penalties on one play.

And they run into the kicker after Houston scores a TD on the next play.

LOL @ TCU. Big 12 is going to be left out again. TCU is out after this beating. Baylor will lose at least twice and I think Oklahoma wins Bedlam. I don't think the committee will let Oklahoma in with such a bad loss.

Arkansas beats Ole Miss in OT after completing a crazy 4th and 25 from the 40 to get a first down and then winning the game with a 2 pt conversion.

                      Good stuff.

On the second two-point conversion, no less-- first one ended on a QB sack where the defender grabbed the facemask.

                        Wow.

Notre Dame, tOSU, and Clemson need to win out.
