if you're frequently enduing up in cover 1 or 0 you have to get to the quarterback. period. jamming with no help over the top is a recipe for getting burned. there's not a secondary in the country that is going to fare well in constant one on one coverage with no pressure on a competent qb.

It just seems like they're nickel and diming us to death with underneath timing routes. I hate our DLine this year as well, but this scheme is stupid and we need to do something else. If it's only an elite scheme when there's two NFL players on it, then they need to run something different.

I hate that garbage play where they throw a pass, but it's a lateral. It's easy to defend and I don't think it's gone for more than 5 or 6 yards at any point this year.
