Based on the little I saw of the USC/Cal game, BYU won't be able to afford many mistakes on defense. BYU should be able to put up some points if the OLs show up.

The PAC-12 is down this year, as is just about every conference. You know it's a bad year when UCLA is somehow ranked in the top 10.

I hate the SEC but once again they are the best conference and it's not close.

Nearly half the conference is ranked in the top 25 of the playoff rankings and you can only argue with a straight face that 1 off those 5 aren't deserving. It isn't parity there is a lot of quality.

I don't think anybody really wants any parts of U of A this year. And ASU is unseasonably tough as well. When you have this many dangerous teams, you know the PAC 12 is strong. Parity does not equal mediocrity- that's silly. It's still college football and there is quite a lot of parity in general-- any team could win on any given Saturday. The MWC had a lot of parity among the top 4 teams or so before TCU and Utah left, and those were some tough ass teams.
