I don't think the end is near, just that situations change and investments are looked over. I think BYU football is fine and is what it has been for a long time. In other words I don't think there is anything more BYU can do given its circumstances. This year has been a huge downer and I think the club threw in the towel in addition to the rash of injuries. But I don't think that indicates BYU can never have a team like we thought this club was in September. Whining about firing coaches or how poorly Glen Tucket was treated during Clinton's first term is not facing reality, IMO, and being a pussy. Deciding the investment is not worth it is very different than shrieking about something that cannot be changed.

Others think BYU can make changes, I am not so convinced.

As a BYU fan I want to make a case for this fanbase to pull the fucking string. We are in need a serious string pulling reformation.

Also I have no plan to go to the games the rest of this year and unless Taysom returns I doubt I renew my season tickets but this end of the world garbage gets old. We are what we are and with better luck this could have been a spectacular year. There is nothing in this recent spat of games that indicates all of that is lost. We were a good team led by a great player with a fortuitous schedule. Well he got hurt, as did a hell of a lot of others and now we are struggling to be an average team. Mendenhall is still a good coach. Probably not a great coach but a good one and likely one better than this stringpulling fanbase deserves. If you pussies are not complaining about Joseph Smith it is Bronco Mendenhall. PTFS. You will be happier and the womenfolk will respect you more.

Remember the saying "do you kiss your mother with that mouth"? I'm trying to think of a way to put it in the context of typing, hands, wife, but I'm not coming up with anything that wouldn't be worse than your language. You should have been a drill instructor. Also, on the broader point, I agree that we shouldn't fire our coach. Like it or not, we are a ball club with limited options.

Speaking of clubs and distance. I absolutely love my Taylor Made Speed Blades. I am hitting the 5 iron 195-200 yards. Fairways are hard, but that is a long ways for an old man. They are coming out with newer ones this year. It will be my fifth set of new irons in the last 5 years. The children aren't going to be happy I am spending their money like this.

To keep with the theme though. Hitting cavity back clubs instead of blades is "PTFS"

I agree this year the investment is not worth it.

I believe if administration would be more flexible on Honor Code application to athletes changes could be made in the results. In many cases, BYU is not that far off. However, BYU must expand its pool of resources as opposed to narrowing its pool. That is how changes can be made.

Replacing Bronco won't change the results until this philosophical change is accepted. However, I don't like hiring unproven coordinators such as Doman or Howell. BYU hires far too much from within. Even if our HC is limited to Mos, that doesn't mean our Coordinators are limited to Mos or to inexperienced nonMos. The pool is more limited than for USC, but it doesn't have to be as limited as administration self-imposes.

This year is done and it was done the moment Taysom went down. I'll be back next year, complaining if things don't go well, but I'll be back. Unlike you, I believe BYU has capacity to do better.

Hey dumbass, this kind of stupidity is exactly what the program doesnt need. It is AWOL deserters like you who think they are sending some sort of message by abandoning the program when chips are down that are actually doing more harm than good to the team and the direction of byu football. This is not the time to constrain BYUs financial resources, when it needs more to remain competitive. This is not the time to stop attending games, when the school is trying to recruit players to come play in Provo. What does not renewing your tickets accomplish anyway? BYU71's octogenarian duncery gets a pass because he wears a diaper and doesnt recognize his own children much anymore, but failing to renew tickets because you don't like the schedule is something an idiot would do. The school is aware that the opponent isn't always great, the school is aware that fans want to be in the b12, the school is aware that the athletic department in general would be better if it were in a power conference. You want people to pull the string but it is so far into your orifice right now that it is currently unreachable anyway. If you stop supporting the team now then you are simply proving to be a Majerus-loving, Ute hat-wearing, Simi Valley-slumming son of a bitch that I thought you were all along. 195-200 with a 5 iron is pretty good. I still wonder how some of those tour guys hit their's about 220. I traded in my Burners for the RocketBladez Tour and at first I wasn't thrilled because I lost a little length but I'm happy now. I'm been hitting them just dead straight and really enjoying playing right now. I think you understand PTFS now, hitting cavity back clubs as opposed to blades is definitely PTFS.

listen Senor DroolCup, buying a scalped ticket is allowing season ticket holders to continue to renew their seats because they know they can still sell them in the open market. The school gets the full benefit of the ticket sale. Guys like you who pretend to be donors but actually are only half donors are helping out somewhat, which is better than nothing, I guess, but not if you stop buying your tickets altogether. besides, im a subscriber now.
