Even now with the UCLA loss, Utah is scene as an inferior team to BYU.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostJust keep dreamin,' dreamin.'
"After competing with but falling to a decent Utah team in the opener and easily handling Oregon State and UNLV the past two weeks by a combined 63-14 score, the Wolverines will face their best opponent to date."

BYU Cougars
Trending: UP
The Cougars ran out of miracles at the end of a 24-23 loss at UCLA on Saturday night. They're still capable of putting together a pretty special season.

Among the many upsides of today's debacle (e.g., BYU's single kick-off was excellent; scoring as many points as Michigan in the second half; etc.), I assume I won't have to pay too high a premium on the UConn tix. I may even have a row to myself.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostI'm now in the market for two tickets for the UConn game. If BYU beats Michigan, will it be foolish to wait until game night to land a pair?
OK, probably not, but I much prefer certainty to saving a few bucks.

Over the last few years I’ve heard over and over again that there is a learning curve for players and coaches to assimilate to regularly facing tougher competition. I guess Utah and TCU are two cases in point. It makes sense to me and I hope that is what we are seeing from BYU now. But how much can we expect Bronco and Anae to change and adapt? This four game stretch pales in comparison to the first 8 games next year. I’m not optimistic. Having said that, I would be terrified if Bronco decided to leave. Who would BYU even take a chance on to coach?

I googled his ass just to see what he's up to. Seems like he's sticking it out in the JC ranks since he can't find a D-1 program with goals up to his standards. He wants a NATIONAL TITLE, damn it! From the guy who decommitted when he found out Taysom was coming back.

“I want to play for a coach who cares about winning as much as I do,” Hosick said. “You’d be surprised at how hard that is to actually find. A lot of people are just satisfied with going to bowl games. That’s not what I’m here for. The goal should be a national title.”"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
