Golfing, Boating, Burgers with fried eggs: BYU @ Texas
If I don't write #wmph Goat will with a full paragraph of explicit tirade.
I think you're right that we still have something to prove there, but given that our arguably top two run-defending DL - and definitely our two biggest - (Marques and Tausinga) were not playing, that 3.3 is pretty solid. If we'd had those two (or even one of them) I'd be concerned. *You will note that if you multiply 3.3 x 3 it still doesn't get you a first down.*
That would be the reason I said it's nearly good enough for a first down, and an awful lot of uncomfortable 4 and inches...on average of course
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

The University of Texas Police are investigating an unauthorized drone flight by a UT student who flew his drone over Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. The flight took place during the home opener for the Texas Longhorns football team.
In the past 10 years (six at Florida, four at Louisville) his defenses have give up a total of 600 rushing yards to quarterbacks. That's 131 games, 940 rushes, 600 yards. That's an average of 4.58 yards per game. We're including sacks in that number, but to put this in perspective: Last season, Texas gave up 715 rushing yards to QBs.
That would really suck if Taysom only rushed for 4.58 yards on Saturday.

I like this one:
0-8: Hill did not complete a pass on third and long against Texas last season. But he did rush for 141 yards and a touchdown on six third-down carries. Yeah, that's 23.5 yards per carry on third downs.
A piece of advice for Texas athletic director Steve Patterson:
Do not, under any circumstances, schedule another football game with Brigham Young. Ever. Even at gunpoint. Even if they want to play it in China or Mexico. Or on Saturn. Don’t do it.
In the words of ex-Texas coach Darrell Royal, "It's not the X's and the O's but the Jimmys and the Joes." Conventional wisdom is that the more talented team will win most of the times. Upsets are anomalies. Texas is easily the most talented team between the two. Probably the only position advantage BYU has is at QB. So what the hell happened last year? At a certain point experience has to play a role. Texas has had its fair share of losses to personnel. Maybe the gap in talent isn't as big as it appears. I hope Texas is as snake bitten by BYU as BYU is to Utah.
more like just get read to play, not sleepwalk or assume an automatic W against them. A school like UT is their superbowl.........UT needs to understand that.
I thought we were their mini-superbowl?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
Dig your own grave, and save!
