What an awesome weekend.

The highlight? Holding my six year old all game so he could see the action and ask me questions about the game.

He got about 1/3 of the words to the fight song down by the end of the night.

In addition to the win last night, my night was made better because my 13 year old son watched the entire game with me. This is significant because my son, strangely, just isn't much of a sports fan. Hard to imagine being that age and not being completely obsessed with sports, but he's probably never watched (other than games we attend so he doesn't have a choice) more than a full quarter of a football or basketball game . So awesome. Thank you, Taysom Hill.

Glad he got his snaps under control. Seems like he made a big difference in the line play. When he was out cooling his jets on the sideline and Fusi was playing center, the offense went nowhere. Once he got back in, the O started moving again.

His was one of several nice storylines from last night. He went from high school football last year to starting in his home state's most impressive college venue. Nerves and adrenaline had to be sky high, and his first few shotgun snaps were horrible (especially the one with great hang time on fourth and short). But after being given some time to calm down on the bench, he came down and played really well the rest of the game, from what I could see.

I will have you know that I left the beach in Maui to head back to the hotel and sit on the bed watching the game on my ipad. I'm hardcore because I live hardcore! :rockon2:

That reminds me of the Texas game last year. I had taken my then 8 year old daughter to a couple of games before, but always away games. The Texas game was the first she had been to in Provo. By the end of the night she had the fight song memorized (helps that we got to sing it about 10 times). Sometimes she wants to sing it when we are driving in the car. She has even taught it to her (non-Mo) best friend. She's quite the little missionary.

I read the BYU threads on both Shaggy Bevo and UB5 post-game and that's what stood out to me. My favorite was his anti-mormon rhetoric on Texas' board to try to earn a rep and then going on UB5 and pooh poohing people who exhibited shocking anti-mormon bigotry over on Shaggy Beav. What a psycho. That would be really scary if he was doing something like scouring all these threads here on CS anonymously, despite now hating BYU, and trying to dig into our personal lives for info!
