I stand by my previous comment and declare myself the winner of this argument after you appealed to the authority of CS posters in game threads.
Clever. Claim a quick victory and hope the fact that you rebut nothing goes unnoticed.
Take a moment and think: you're taking the side of Skye PoVey.
"Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."
You realize Hill was rolling right, being pressured, and Matthews was on the opposite hash right? So Hill is throwing across his body deep downfield, across the field. And you think he should just put "10 yards more" on it? Gotcha.
If he can't make the throw, then he shouldn't throw the ball. Granted I didn't see any replays and forgot to dvr the game, but he didn't even have to throw the ball deeper. He probably could have just thrown it more to the right and Matthews still would have gotten it.
The second pick happened right near me and it was a awful throw. Regardless, I was pleased with pretty much all of Hills play except for the picks.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

That pick was on Matthews. He tried to catch it at his waist instead of going up to get it and consequently let the 5'10 db out muscle him.

46 yard pass from the far side numbers to the near side hash. Wow that he got the ball there.

Please quit pretending you know what you are talking about.

Guess I"ll have to wait until the BYUtv Monday replay to see it.
It was interesting the UH fans were going wild after the pick. I don't think they realized that I'd take that pick over a punt anyday. It was pretty much a 50 yard punt with no return and given my nervousness anytime we kicked/punted I'll take the pick.

Arellano is not the All American Riley Stephenson. But he is averaging 42 yards a kick.
Kicking not sure why you would be nervous. Sorenson is 9/11 and has 20 touchbacks on 39 kickoffs. He also doesn't miss PATs.
Throw in the fact we have the best gunner in cfb with Sorenson and a great kick coverage unti barring one mistake yesterday. No reason to be nervous.

Sorenson has been a pleasant surprise to me this year. I was worried he had lost his confidence and might not make it back. He has been money this year.
Stephenson spoiled us all last year. His punting impacted games.

The blame goes to Matthews. In a scramble drill when your QB is going one way, football rules are you roll with him to give him someone to throw to, not run your route deeper up the field. Matthews needs to come to his QB, not keep going and put himself further out of the play. Even with that, Hill still gets enough juice on the ball to get it close. He gives Matthews a shot to make the play, which Matthews doesn't come back to go up for the ball, he tried to catch it at his waist.
