The chocolate/cookie ratio is definitely higher in the Big Kat. I think it is a better mix, but if you are set on the ratio in the regular Kit Kat, the Big Kat is probably not for you.

    • So I wanted a Big Kat after this discussion only to discover that they didn't get stocked in our vending machine this time around. To make matters worse, the row of Almond Joys was blocked by one pack of Golden Oreos in the front. Some guy's idea of a sick joke. I ended up settling for an Oh Henry!.

      • Offensive keys:

First of all Houston is not good defensively, they ranked 59th in the country in total defense and that is against the 123rd ranked schedule. Houstons opponents rank: 83rd, 103rd, 94th and if UTSA wasn't reclassifying they would rank 72nd in total offense.

Playing these terrible offensive teams they still only rank 59th in total defense.

        Protect Taysom:
If we can protect Taysom and give him time, Houston is 103rd in passing yards allowed giving up 270 yards per game which is more than Taysom has thrown for all year. We saw the offenses they have played not exactly world beaters. This all starts with protection upfront. If the O-line can hold up I see some big receiving days for Cody and Mitch. In fact I think Cody goes for 150 and 2 tds. They don't have a great pass rush as they only have 8 sacks on the season. Which should bode well for our O-line.

        Running lanes:
Again this hinges on the O-line. Houston is stout against the run ranking 26th nationally. But a lot of that has to do with how bad they are against the pass. BYU will have a balanced attack and even with Houston ranked 26th nationally against the run they are still giving up 3.5 yards per carry.

        Limit the 3 and outs:
The offense has way to many possessions this year that have lasted under a minute. Against a team like Houston where you are covering in space for long periods of time, we will need the offense to control the clock a bit more and help keep the defense fresh. GHGF is great but I wouldn't mind seeing after we pickup that initial first down on a drive.

We now have future 1-1s with Louisville, Texas State and Kansas. Our 2-2 is with Texas Tech. We are currently in talks with other Big 12 and SEC schools in additon to Boise. So we will have more announcements soon regarding that.

The AAC does not allow 2-1s nor is it in our scheduling philosophy. We only go for equal deals and equal deals only. (Except for FCS but nobody in their right mind unless you're in the MAC travels to an FCS stadium.)

Didn't UCLA beat you guys by 31 points last year?

              • I just wanted to say that CJ does an excellent breakdown. I know more about Houston than I did 5 minutes ago.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

You seem to be confused on which people are going to physically be playing in the game. I'll give you a hint...they are not the ones posting on message boards about it.

They thought they would win by 50. They underestimated the Big Red Kat.

No they beat them in 2011 at home by 4 points. Oh and that UCLA team finished with 8 losses. It was also the best team in Houston history (of course southern miss bitch slapped them in the conference USA championship game and right after they lost their head coach).
